Hey, I saw Patsy Cline last night at Hanover Tavern and it was great! Half way through the first set, I finally recognized you from Nunsense. Anyway, great play (as always) and we look forward to your next visit to Hanover Tavern.

Debra:
You were wonderful last night as Sister Mary Amnesia. The moment when you remember who you are was particularly poignant. Your voice filled the auditorium; but, to capture the range of emotions you present for every performance was a pleasure to see. I loved the entire cast (you all mesh together beautifully), the musicians were spot on and the show was a delight. Thanks!

What a surprise, someone else has the same name as me. Found you by accident; just playing around on the computer. I was especially caught off guard when listening to the short mps and saw that one was from "Violet"....that was my mother's name! I think I was supposed to see this tonight; it has been a rough two years. I currently have a niece in the hospital with cancer (doesn't look good). Asked that Mom and others that have pased keep hugging my niece and holding onto her so she knows she is not alone. Thank you!

Happy Birthday, Debra!!!
I really miss The Wizard Of Oz and hearing you sing, "Come out, Come out." Thank you for sticking by the munchkin's side on stage and off! Hope we'll get to perform together soon! I can't wait to buy your cd! You have an excellent voice. Thanks again, Glinda!

It gets so crazy and crowded after each performance, but I wanted to let you know that you're voice is just beautiful. (Well, I'm thinking you must know that)... I'm going to buy your CD at Plan 9, just so Peyton can remember that she was able to share the stage with you! What an honor.

If anyone is anywhere near Richmond this Saturday or Monday, go see the HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS Cabaret at Barksdale Theatre at Willow Lawn, which features some of Richmond's finest singing actors. It's a benefit for the Richmond Artists Fund, which is great, but what is...well...I hesitate to say "even better", but it just might be true, is Debra Wagoner's thrilling presence and performances. One of, if not THE, most thrilling moment of the evening is when Debra inhabits "Meadowlark" from Stephen Schwartz' musical THE BAKER'S WIFE. You may have heard Ms. Lupone do it. You may have heard Ms. Buckley do it. But you have NEVER heard it done like this! Hers is a vocally thrilling, emotionally connected, moving performance of one of the greatest story songs in musical theatre. This performance alone is worth the price of admission. Go see for yourself!

Dearest Debra:
WOW! Another reason for your old Tucker High School music director to be so proud! I just bought your CD at Tower and finished listening to it. Listening to "Maybe This Time" brought back fond memories of when you sang it at school - you brought the house down! Also, many other titles reminded me of that summer we worked together at Six Street Marketplace!

Now folks all over will know what so many of us here in Richmond have known for years: you are a superlative singer who not only has great pipes, but such musicality and sensitivity! Lady, after you sing a song, it has been SUNG! I would listen to you sing a grocery list.
I have to say, playing for you is like riding in a Rolls Royce! I can hardly wait for your Harold Arlen cabaret coming up in the fall - people are going to FLIP!

Hi Debra (& all of Debra's fans)!
I am SO happy and excited to be reading about you and seeing all that you're doing! I've always thought that Richmond was too small for your enormous talent, and that you needed to be shared with the rest of the world. So congrats on the CD and "expanding your horizons." Freda and I wish you (& Joe) the absolute BEST!
